P1 AquaX

AquaX is the fastest growing personal watercraft championship in the world. Its rapid growth is owed to a simple, yet challenging race format that appeals to today’s personal watercraft users.

This year the program will include the unveiling of a professional level race series and expansion of two further championships in the Great Lakes region of the USA and in Southeast Asia.

2017 Season Preview: Chris MacClugage

With a few weeks to go before the 2017 P1 AquaX USA Pro Series we preview the riders in the hunt for the title – none more so than 2016 champion Chris MacClugage.

MacClugage, who is known to be one of the greatest jet ski racers of all-time, enhanced his status with a sensational championship victory in 2016 after trailing Dean’s team teammate Aero Aswar for the majority of the season.

His fortunes varied throughout the season as he fought several mechanical issues that cost him dropped points regularly but his ability to rack up victories at every round ensured he finished strong and with enough points to claim the title.

Sponsored by Monster Energy, MacClugage will be out proving he can once again master the best in the business and add to his ever growing list of achievements that includes well over 30 world and national titles.

MacClugage could also start to close the gap on Aswar as the world’s number one AquaX rider and will have the inaugural World Championships in Key West firmly on his mind as he enters yet another long season of jet ski racing.
