P1 AquaX

AquaX is the fastest growing personal watercraft championship in the world. Its rapid growth is owed to a simple, yet challenging race format that appeals to today’s personal watercraft users.

This year the program will include the unveiling of a professional level race series and expansion of two further championships in the Great Lakes region of the USA and in Southeast Asia.

Jetskiing, Adaptive Sports - Handcycling, Mono-Skiing, Spending time with family

'Im a former Army helicopter pilot, now a military veteran that still competes and represents Special Operations Command in adaptive sports. When Im not handcycling, mono skiing, or training I tend to spend most of my free time with my beautiful wife and amazing kids. The past season we have been spending a lot of time out on the water and enjoying the outdoors.'

Anthony was introduced to racing by Shawn Aladio in 2013. He has continued to thrive in the water ever since.

'My first race was the Long Beach to Catalina Island and back. From that point there was no turning back.being an adrenaline junky I was addicted to the challenge of watercraft racing against able body racersthis was the first sport that I competed in that wasnt and adaptive sport and I was held to the same standards as any other racer.'

Anthony's racing career has enabled him to travel the world to some incredible locations. Peru, Russia and Thailand to name just a few...! Anthony has managed to make a name for himself globally with international achievements such as finishing 3rd place in Peru's F1 class and 2nd in the Russky Grand Prix.

Technical assistance from Jesus Garcia, Riva Racing, had a huge and positive impact on Anthony's racing. His skis were set up for his specific needs and addressed most of the issues he had faced while racing.

'This past season was definitely my most memorable season, I feel like this was the season that I have made a huge leap forward... This was absolutely a game change in my last two AquaX races or the season, placing 3rd in the last race in Ft Lauderdale.'

'Im hoping I continue racing, this sport has been an absolute blessing in my life. It fills the empty void I have had after retiring from the military and it gives me something to strive forpushing myself and breaking barriers at each race.'

Anthony maintains a strict and healthy diet. But when it comes to apple pie and ice cream...
